Lookout! Frazier Mountain Revisited

Lookout junkies, behold some video of the interior of Frazier Mountain lookout which ZK has been kind enough to share (hit the full-screen button for good effect). The cab was in pretty sad shape that day we visited in May … the RSO visited again a few weeks ago, and apparently it’s gone from pretty bad to even worse.

And a little something from the archives (literally, this time) …

    it is a real pity these reminders of our not-too-distant past are going away.

    although i would love to see these structures remain, in these days of decreased funds it realistically makes no sense to the budgeteers to spend valuable resources on an object that would immediately become the target of knuckleheads and scofflaws.

    these remote locations – or drive ups – are easy prey.
